My friend setup a new site got me thinking...

So my friend who is kind of an online entrepreneur type guy and makes a living online from his websites has recently just setup a brand new website ( www.Game-Advertising.com ). It's basically an advertising network that specalizes in the gaming industry for things like online games and arcades etc

On paper to me it looks like a great idea and he's quite well switched on when it comes to this stuff so I have high hopes for him and hope they take off and do really well!

It kind of got me thinking of what I could potentially setup and start trying to make some extra income off myself, I love blogging but unfortunately this blog doesn't pay the bills! haha

I've got a few other friends in the game industry with sites as well so I've tried sending him some business there way but I hope and this is my aim to set something up myself very soon!

So watch this space guys! The new Richard Branson is on his way through! :P

The Bloons Tower Defense 5 game is a great computer game for children and adults of all ages and you can choose to play this addicting game at work or you and your child can play it together. It is a fun game to play in your spare time, and it can be so addicting that you will not want to give up playing this challenging game.

This game has different levels to choose from such as a beginner, advanced, and playing at an intermediate level. Not only are you able to choose the level you feel the most comfortable playing, but you can also choose whether or not you want to play at an easy, medium, or hard level. If this is your first time playing, you may not want to play at a hard level but you also may want to challenge yourself.

You are able to put different animals in different places around a road like maze but you should only start out using one at a time if you are not familiar with the way the game works. When you first start out, you will only be able to select two or three different animals. Once you go through the first round, you will have more animals to select and place them in different places.

You can place the animals anywhere you want but only on the grass because there will be balloons coming out one after the other on the road. You want to be careful where you place the animals because you are using those animals to pop the balloons. The balloons will continue to go faster as you keep playing and that is where it is going to be more challenging.

As you keep playing the balloons will go all around the road so placing animals all around the roads on the grass will be very beneficial to you because you do not want the balloons to go past the animals without the balloons popping and you will continue to succeed at the game.

When playing the game, try to challenge yourself and pick harder levels because picking the easy levels every time can be boring so you want to liven things up a bit. If you have young children playing, try and encourage them where to put the animals and give your child positive feedback after they successfully place the animals in the spots where the balloons are headed.

Sometimes known as double-hand poker, Pai Gow poker is essentially an offshoot of the Chinese game, Pai Gow. Rough Time At The Casino Tables

Okay so I have been telling you that I wanted to get more involved in the online casino scene, even my last post told you about how I wanted to reconnect with some of the old boys from school over the PokerStars poker tables but it seems that I have had a bad week at the casino tables this week.

Now okay I know that a winning streak is going to come to an end at some point, especially when you are dealing with online casinos for real money, but I was shocked to see the crushing form that I was subjected to, something that has left me with little more than my initial investment in my account.

Things looked rosy when I first joined 888 Casino and I soon began to build a bankroll that I was pleased to show off to friends but it now looks a little less ‘epic’ and more like I have just undone the past two weeks of online casino action that I have spent trying to rack up a hefty chunk of cash.

I’m not completely sure at to the reason behind my alteration in form, I mean I know that playing online casino games does come with risk and probability but playing at the Blackjack tables I like to think that I have a little more control over the outcome than if I was to simply spray my bet across a roulette table.

So keeping in with my usual advice to people that ask me about my former live participation at a number of casinos across the world, I’ve taken a step back from the online casino action for a few days to avoid acting out of desperation to get the funds back.

Seeing almost 75% of your funds clear out in one session is an awful feeling and looking back I should have moved away from the table earlier, but I fell into the mind-set that I could recover my losses, an expensive lesson!

Calling all former college friends....

Well after heading out on a night out i met up with a few of my former college friends and it seems that they are still playing poker like the good old days but with me no longer based in Sussex, i have had to come up with a way that we can arrange to meet up and play poker online, for online poker real money.

So having a think about the number of options that would and wouldn't not be open to me it seems that we will have to all sign up to PokerStars as they offer something called a 'home game' where you can arrange to meet up on a regular basis with friends and compete for real money.

Although we could have just tried to all jump onto the same table at the regular online poker sites, there is a huge uncertainty about whether we are actually allowed to do that as we often play more than one game and surely the online poker sites would be wondering why up to five of the same players consistantly appear at the online poker tables together.

So with the safest method now thought out and the increased bonus of being able to play the games with friends when i want as well as playing against other online poker players from across the world when they aren't online, i have finally got the perfect plan!

So guys, as we agreed in town the other week, we can now set up a personal online poker stand off once again and i can go back to hitting those trips on the river card!

The Tale of A Horse Whisper!

Well I have just began to get the horse betting bug after my dad decided that I should spend a little more time with him, something that I thought was going to mean that we would have more days out and a little more time to do what I wanted to do, boy was I wrong.

According to my dad I needed to broaden my options for things that I am interested in and when I was told that I was going to be going to the horse races with him I envisioned beer, food and lots of laughs…

When we got to the race course the place was packed, I mean that there was literally almost nowhere to move while the huge groups of people pushed passed you as they headed to the overpriced bar to get their lips around a plastic cup full of beer that tasted like the beer pumps had been flushed with bleach!

Anyway, that soon stopped when the first race was set to line up so it was then that I began to see my dad in a whole different light, like a man possessed the looked over the form papers tacked to the wall before slowly telling me to whisper the names back to him.

Yeah I know! Strange eh?!

Anyway I did as I was told and how the hell something like that actually gave him a winning horse on his first race, I have no idea but hey I rolled with it and the winnings we given to me for the next round.

That’s what dads are for!!

Anyway the bloody whispering of horse names continued and winners kept coming over the finish line, now I’m not saying that I believe that this whole garbage about whispering the horse’s name to my dad did that in any way, shape or form but I couldn’t believe it as winner after winner came in!

Possibly the strangest time that I have had with my dad and I now know that he is crazy as hell when it comes to his horse race days, so I think that I better make plans quickly as he intends to go to the Cheltenham Festival and I know that he will be thinking that I’m going to experience that again?!

Okay so it’s not the easiest of things to admit but sometimes you have to analyse yourself in order to improve yourself in life and that is something that has lead to me wanting to re-create myself in terms of my online poker player strategies.

It seems that I have fallen into the same old tactics while playing online and now it seems that my ‘special moves’ are simply being seen straight through and I keep getting caught out in the worst possible situations.

Now although reading printed books has always been my favoured method of learning poker skills, moves and strategy, I have opened my mind up a little more and have begun to seek online poker hints and tips from online sites such as www.highqualitypoker.com.

Now I have always thought that trying to learn strategy from sites online is always going to have things crashing down by my feet, after all the information that I am learning is out there, free for all to read, but I have broken that train of thought this time around and it seems that the advice that I have been reading seems to be having a positive effect on my play so far.

I have tried to stay away from the online cash tables while I have been practising what I have learnt but have set my sites on a big tournament that is advertised on the site for late next month, so I will slowly work my way through the stakes to get ready for what could offer the biggest online poker win that I have ever had.

So after months of putting it off I finally decided it's time I had a go at online poker! I've been playing with the guys on a night for ages now and they'd always been telling me about how they play online and how much quicker it is and the amount of hands they manage to get through without having to mess around shuffling cards and what not.

There's quite a bit of commotion flying around with the online poker scene at the moment primarily in the US with a lot of the big names shutting down or getting shut down by the US government so I was a little skeptical about which site to download and trust with my money.

I did a quick search and found PokerEverything.com who basically have a list of poker room reviews and they compare a handful of the big sites with the pro's and con's of each so it kinda put my mind at ease I guess when finally depositing!

I ended up going with TitanPoker as it was one of their favourite sites and so far I've been over the moon with them. No problems as of yet and the support is great, sometimes too great, they just kept pestering me on a live chat about the new sign up promotions whilst I was trying to lose my money ;D

I've played a few Sit and Go tournaments and one big MTT so far which I got knocked out in pretty much right away! haha but on the whole its brilliant, as the guys said you fly through the amount of hands in comparison to a live game and theres always the option of playing more than one table with ease

Angry Birds Flash Review

Angry Birds started off as a simple smartphone game app centered around flinging birds at green pigs and various objects with the intent of destroying all pigs. A seemingly simple premise along the lines of many other games found in an app store, this game how now began a life of it's own and is basically a pop culture phenomenon. From commercials for Google Chrome to constant jokes and references in the media, to billboards and magazine adds, this game is now everywhere. As if having this game on your phone wasn't enough, a flash version now exists on the internet that allows you to play Angry Birds anytime you please.

The flash version of this mobile marvel is very similar to the original version, featuring all the same music, sounds, and classic characters. The objective is the same, use the slingshot to propel your birds in to various structures and obstacles to eliminate all the pigs on each level before you run out of birds. The levels start out very simple, with only one or two pigs on each, but as you advance in the game the obstacles increase, as well as the number of pigs. as you continue throughout the levels you also receive different birds on certain levels, and mixtures of them on others all with different abilities. These range from breaking off into three separate birds, to torpedoing at the click of your mouse. The fewer birds you use to clear the map, the higher your points and rating will be.

If you have ever played the Apple or Android version of this game, then mastering this new flash version should be fairly simple, as it has an almost identical layout. The graphics are exactly the same as well, so it feels no different than if you were turning on your phone to play on a long car ride. The graphics do seem to have a tiny lag every once in a while, but that is to be expected from a flash game and a strong internet connection should make this a non issue. The game is every bit as addictive as the mobile one, and if you stumble across it while surfing the web you may find yourself killing a lot more time than expected while playing.

Overall, this flash version of Angry Birds is definitely true to the franchise and is recommended for any fans of the series, especially those without access to a smartphone or tablet.

Bloons Tower Defense 5!

In the lifespan of the tower defense game genre, there are a few stand outs. The Bloons series is most definitely one that not only continues to try different things, but hold true to its roots. Every sequel has offered new maps, new challenges, new monkeys, and new balloons for you to explode in a dramatic fashion.

New to the game are 'vehicle' based monkeys like the Buccaneer and Monkey Ace that take to the seas and skies respectively. As always that same monkey charm exists in the game, and that moment when you have Super Monkey Lasers firing off in all directions and the frame rate is dropping just because of how much is going on. That's not a complaint. The game just likes to do a lot at once, which means that to not go bananas, you are going to have more and more to keep track of as the level goes on.

What I've liked about the Bloon series, and continues full throttle in this incarnation is the fact that the more you play, the better the game gets. By popping x amount of balloons (where x can exceed into the thousands) you raise level. As you, the player, raise level, more monkeys become available to you. This means that when you first start playing the game, you might only get so far with the first few attacks, but after a solid hour of playing, you have entirely new strategies based on what has been unlocked.

As is the way of games these days, there is some content that you can buy using the in-game currency of Mochi Coins, but if you are not the type to purchase things that way, don't worry about it. Bloons has a huge and diverse set of maps available to you from the beginning, and more monkeys than you could ever need. As an evolution of the tower defense game, Bloons isn't doing anything too major, but it remains one of the most fun and least serious series in this genre. If you like tower games or have a strange affinity for monkeys, you are going to love Bloons tower Defense 5. It is as simple as that.

A solid take on the Bomberman type of play style, once you start playing this game its hard to stop.

As more bombs are planted, the more the adrenalin gets pumping and the harder it becomes to outlast your fellow detonator. You receive the added incentive of trying to gain bonuses that allow you to improve your attack and give you an even greater chance of being the sole survivor. Playing with Fire 3 has a very classic online mutiplayer feel to it and the more time you play and get a feel for the maze, as well as learning opponent strategies, the more you become a dominant player as you take out gamers from all over the world.

One of the main reasons this game is so enjoyable is that, as an improvement over previous entries in the series, the number of players per game has bee increased to four. Angry Birds Rio is a free online flash game brought to you by Rovio Mobile LTD. The purpose of this game is to sling shot your limited set of birds into the caged birds on the opposite side of the room. As each level progresses the ability to knock down the cages and set the birds free becomes more difficult, because there are more obstacles’ such as box’s and bricks, as well as more cages. You get even more point if you can free all the birds and have some of your own left over.

To sling shot your birds across the room, you simply click and drag your mouse over the sling shot, aim, and then release. Directing your birds where to go and the ability to sling shot them across the room was very easy. I found that this game was very simple to play through the first few levels. Basically, you are doing the same exact thing each level, it does require you to think more strategically as each level progresses. The more you play the more they add to it such as locks on the cages, which require you to actually hit the cage with your bird to set it free.

Although, I found the game to be interesting and a bit entertaining in the beginning, after I reached about level 5 I began to loose interest, simply because it was the same thing over and over again in each level and it was fairly easy to advance to the next level. It would seem to be a game I might introduce to my child; I believe a younger audience would have more fun with it the older audience.

Even though it becomes easy to loose interest throughout the game, the graphics’ were of great quality and perfect for the game. It was very color, bright, and all in all appealing to the eye. I do have to say, if I were to ever play again, I would have to play on mute because the music is constant and exactly the same throughout each level.

In summary, I believe the game to be fun to play in the beginning. I do not see myself playing it again, unless they introduced different strategic obstacles in each level. Otherwise, I'd leave it to be played for the younger crowd.

Mario and Sonic Jet Adventure is a free flash game brought to you by Pupu Games. The object of the game is to fly your jet avoiding the enemy birds and planes and shoot them down. You also collect coins and bonus items like rapid speed and rapid fire as you fly.

To control your plane, you have the option of using your mouse or the recommended keyboard. Normally, I prefer the mouse when playing games, so I chose that to begin with. It was hard to get my plane off the ground and build stamina. It was also difficult to direct the plane where to go. The game was quite challenging, I could barely make my way past two birds. I then switched to the keyboard and after getting familiar with what buttons I needed to press to control the plane, I was able to build my stamina quicker and guide the plane better. The game was still challenging, I found when I collected the speed ups it was impossible to shoot the obstacles in my way.

After you crash you are given money to upgrade your plane for your next round. I was able to fully upgrade my plane after playing the game six times. The only upgrade I found worth the "money" was the rapid fire. This took away the challenge of the game. Traveling at a faster speed just made it harder to hit all the obstacles and earn points, I sped past coins before being able to maneuver my plane to collect them. I wished there was a way to remove the upgrades once I added them, but there is not.

Overall, the game is fun to play a few times. I did not find anything that would make me want to keep coming back to play more. If they saved a high score, it may be worth it to try to beat, but that is something the designers looked past. If they made money harder to earn, I may want to play longer to upgrade my plane, at least to get rapid fire.

The graphics to this game are bright, a lot brighter than most flash games I have seen. The game play seems to flow seamlessly with no hesitations. The carnival music can be quite annoying and repetitive, I ended up muting it after a few rounds.

Kingdom Rush is a new tower defense game that I've been playing and wanted to review and let you all know just how damn good it actually is!

The graphics first of all are awesome for a flash game the developers have really put the effort into this game, some games today are still released with graphics that wouldn't of been fit for the Sega Mega Drive.

Basically the aim of the game is to place towers within the map so that they can fight off any incoming enemies in the form of goblins etc (its not based on real life)

There is an ability to save your game data and unlock items as you progress through the game.

Overall this game for me is one of the best online there is today, its gameplay is great, the graphics are awesome and I'm generally addicted to this game so addictiveness rating is up there as well!

Angry Animals Becoming As Popular As Angry Birds

The smash hit game Angry Birds has become one of the biggest flash games ever created and with the chance to be able to fire those pesky birds at enemies, walls and other obsticles, it doesn't take a genius to figure out why.

Well off the back of the huge Angry Birds game for the mobile gaming world came the Angry Birds Online version, spearheaded by online giants Google after they published the game to their Google Chrome search engine.

The branding of the game has become huge and now you can purchase huge numbers of Angry Birds goodies, from keychains to soft toys, spanning the global appeal across the world.

With Angry Birds making such a stir, other free online games creators have also followed suit, creating a number of other titles that have quickly become popular with the online gaming community, most notably Angry Animals.

New Car / Job / Apartment

So 2011 on paper looked like it was going to be a dry boring year. Money wasn't as good as previous years and job wise I had no 'career' in sight.

The last 2-3 years were the best years of my life by far and probably will be for some time to come. I was working for myself earning a great income working hours I wanted to work with so much flexibility. I ended up going on 6 holidays last year and generally had some amazing weekends out with friends.

This year came and money dried up a little and I started to get really stressed about where my life was going, I didn't want to go into working 9-5 for pennies, I wanted the flexible lifestyle and all the fun that came with it.

Anyway, it came about I was offered a job at an awesome company doing what I was doing for myself, which has given me leeway to carry on working for myself alongside the job, a new car has come into my life and most recently I've got my foot on the property ladder, I've got a mortgage on a new apartment.

This year hasn't been about spending money and holidays, it's been about getting my life sorted and the fact a new job car and apartment have come in the space of 4 months is awesome. So here's to me! Cheers!
