Online multiplayer games are a fun getaway for the bored internet surfer. Many fun flash games exist out there for nearly all types of fans to sit down, kill some time, play and enjoy. Some multiplayer flash games are more addicting than others, which happens to be the case with Playing with Fire 3. A solid take on the Bomberman type of play style, once you start playing this game its hard to stop.
A simple premise can go along way, especially when it involves planting bombs to destroy your three opponents while trying to avoid being the victim of their explosives. As more bombs are planted, the more the adrenalin gets pumping and the harder it becomes to outlast your fellow detonator. You receive the added incentive of trying to gain bonuses that allow you to improve your attack and give you an even greater chance of being the sole survivor. Playing with Fire 3 has a very classic online mutiplayer feel to it and the more time you play and get a feel for the maze, as well as learning opponent strategies, the more you become a dominant player as you take out gamers from all over the world.
One of the main reasons this game is so enjoyable is that, as an improvement over previous entries in the series, the number of players per game has bee increased to four. The added opposition gives the player an increase sense of urgency and makes strategic play even more of a necessity. The game has average graphics for a flash game, but that is to be expected since the game's selling point is its competitive nature, and considering that it's a flash game this really cant be considered a flaw. You can create your own account and keep track of scores, but if you are a casual gamer such as myself you can simply play as a guest and have just as much fun. The bonuses are definitely something to try to achieve in the game, but aren't necessarily a necessity. Once you get a feel for the game you may find that the bonuses don't offer quite as much of an advantage.
For a game that revives the classic action of Bomberman in multiplayer form, it holds its own pretty well. Whether you are a fan of the genre or just looking for a fun flash game to kill time while on your computer, Playing with Fire 3 is a solid game with simplistic play that can ultimately become very addicting.
